We were driving down the road out in Irmo, SC, and almost ran into this snapping turtle. It was in the middle of the road, so we decided to turn around and rescue him. He was quite large, and tricky to move because his neck was very long and he kept whipping it around to try to bite us (Jordan and I both took turns moving it). Also his long toenails were scraping against our hands.

Careful. Turtles can carry Salmonella or however it's spelled. Good of you though. tat was a big toitle! I moved a partly squished turtle off the road in Boise it's guts looked EXACTLY like ketchup and mustard swirled together on a McDonald hamburger. Wu.
